School exam management and report card system
Report cards are the most stressful week of the term. Enter marks once and reports, merit lists and analysis follow.
Enaton turns marks into reports without an end of term scramble. Create the exam, teachers enter marks once, and report cards, transcripts, merit lists and performance analysis follow from the same records for CBC/CBE, 8-4-4, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and Montessori.

What it does
Enaton turns marks into reports without an end of term scramble. Create the exam, teachers enter marks once, and report cards, transcripts, merit lists and performance analysis follow from the same records for CBC/CBE, 8-4-4, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and Montessori.
Creating an exam
- A short guided setup rather than a form with forty fields
- Exam dates have to fall inside the term, which quietly prevents a whole category of mistake
- The class teacher and signature the school requires, captured up front
Show all 4
- Merged exams, where several assessments combine into one reported result
Marks entry
- Teachers see only their own subjects and classes
- Built for entering a stack of scripts quickly, on a laptop or a phone
- Progress is visible, so a head of department can see who has not submitted before the deadline, not after
Show all 4
- Marks outside the expected range are questioned at entry rather than discovered on a report card
What comes out
- Report cards for CBC/CBE, 8-4-4, Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and Montessori, each in its own format
- Transcripts covering a learner’s history rather than one term
- Merit lists by class, stream and subject
Show all 5
- Performance analysis by subject, by teacher and across exams
- The fee balance on the report card if the school wants it, drawn from the same figure the parent sees
Getting reports to parents
Reports can be released to the parent portal as well as printed, and the school can notify parents that they are ready. That removes the risk of a report card living in the bottom of a school bag for three weeks, and it means a parent who has moved counties still sees their child’s results on the day.
One official stamp, on every document

Report cards are where the term goes wrong
Producing reports is the single most stressful administrative task in a school year, and it lands in the same fortnight as exams, closing day preparation and fee collection. Marks arrive in different formats, one teacher is always late, and the spreadsheet that combines everything is understood by one person.
The consequence is that reports go out late, or go out with errors, and both cost the school credibility with exactly the parents it most wants to keep.
How Enaton handles it
Marks are entered against the right learner in the right class from the beginning, by the teacher who marked the script. Everything downstream, grades, positions, merit lists, the report card itself, is worked out from those records rather than assembled separately.
That means a late mark is an inconvenience rather than a crisis, and regenerating a report after a correction does not mean restarting the process.

- CBC Enaton runs CBC, now also called CBE, the way it is actually structured: learning areas, strands, sub strands and objectives, with competency based grading rather than a percentage wearing a new label.
- 8-4-4 Enaton runs 8-4-4 properly: subjects and their papers, marks entered once, grading and points applied by the rules your school sets, and mid term, end term, mocks and merged exams handled without rebuilding a spreadsheet each time..
- Parent portal One account for a parent, covering every one of their children, even when those children are at different schools in the group.

Questions we get about this
Can teachers enter marks from a phone?
Yes. Marks entry is built to work on a phone as well as a laptop, which matters for schools where not every teacher has a computer.
What if a mark needs correcting after reports are out?
Correct it and regenerate. It does not mean restarting the whole process, because everything downstream is worked out from the marks rather than assembled by hand.
Can parents see reports online?
Yes, in the parent portal, alongside fees and attendance. The school controls when results are released.
2 more questions
Can report cards show the fee balance?
If the school chooses. Because academics and finance read the same balance, the figure on the report card matches what the parent sees in the portal that day.
Does it produce transcripts as well as termly reports?
Yes, covering a learner’s full history rather than a single term, which is what a transferring family or a next school actually needs.
