Your day, on Enaton

1

“Every closing day, the report cards are printed the night before.”

On Enaton. Teachers enter marks once, for their own classes. You see who has not submitted while there is still time, and the report cards are made from the marks.

Report forms reach parents on time, and a late mark is an inconvenience, not a crisis.

Exams and report cardsCBC8-4-4

2

“A learner can miss a week before anyone notices.”

On Enaton. Teachers mark the register on a phone. A register nobody marked shows the same day, and a learner drifting into regular absence is flagged early.

You can answer a parent, or a safeguarding question, with a record.

AttendanceVisitors at the gate

3

“KEMIS returns take a fortnight of collecting from everywhere.”

On Enaton. Learner records, guardians and exit status are kept current as part of the day, with admission numbers issued in order and never repeated.

A return becomes checking and exporting, an afternoon instead of a fortnight.

4

“Parents say nobody told them.”

On Enaton. The school calendar is built into Enaton: term dates, events and closing day in one place, seen by staff and parents. Events reach the people they concern, with reminders and RSVPs, and the class diary carries homework and notes both ways.

You can see what was sent, to whom, and who replied.

Questions from principals and head teachers

Can I see which teachers have not entered marks?

Yes. Marks entry progress is visible by class and subject, so a head of department or the principal can chase before the deadline, not after.

Does Enaton work for both primary and secondary schools?

Yes. CBC (now CBE) runs on learning areas and strands, 8-4-4 on subjects, papers and points, Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel on their own grading, and Montessori on observations, in the same school if you need.

Is Enaton ready for KEMIS?

Yes. Learner and staff records are kept in the shape KEMIS expects, so returns come from data the school already maintains.
