For bursars and accountants

Stop matching payments by hand. Start checking.

Payments post themselves to the right learner and vote head, so your job becomes checking the list, not building it.

From as low as KES 4,060 a month, every module included

Your day, on Enaton

1

“I spend the morning matching M-Pesa messages to admission numbers.”

On Enaton. Parents pay by M-Pesa or from any bank in Kenya, and each payment reaches the school in real time on the right child’s account and vote head. A payment nobody can identify is held in plain sight, not guessed at.

One list to check on Monday, not one per bank.

2

“Parents queue at the window to ask their balance or prove they paid.”

On Enaton. The receipt goes out in about a minute, the parent sees the balance on their phone, and anyone can confirm a receipt is genuine from a public link.

Fewer calls, fewer disputes, no reissuing lost receipts.

3

“We chased a parent who had already paid.”

On Enaton. Run a collection campaign against a target. Reminders read the live balance at the moment they send, so a family who has paid is never chased. Clearance cards show the parent the exact amount to pay and come back on their own, and a parent can ask for a pledge or a plan from the portal for you to approve.

Collection without the awkward phone calls.

4

“Petty cash lives in a hardback book, and the fees and the accounts never agree.”

On Enaton. Fees, expenses, petty cash floats and payroll post to the same books, by vote head, with a trial balance you can take any day.

Audit ready accounts, without a month end hunt for the difference.

Questions from bursars

What if a parent pays without the right reference?

The payment is held as unallocated rather than guessed at. You assign it once the family confirms, and the receipt then issues normally.

Can one payment cover several children?

Yes. One payment can be spread across siblings in a single action, and the family sees one account for all of them.

Does the money go to Enaton?

No. Fees go to the school’s own M-Pesa and bank accounts. Enaton records and reconciles them.

What if we bill the wrong class?

Unbill it. Money already paid stays as a credit on the learner, then you rebill and check the coverage report.
