School diary and calendar that parents actually read
Paper diaries get lost between school and home. Parents read and sign a class diary in the portal, and notes go both ways.
Enaton opens a class diary for every learner on every school day. Subject teachers record classwork and homework, parents read and sign it, and notes go both ways. The school calendar puts each event in front of the people it concerns, with reminders and replies.

Homework and notices get lost between school and home
The paper diary depends on a learner carrying it home and a parent finding it. Homework is set and nobody at home knows. A note from a teacher is read a week late, or never. The school has no idea which parents have seen anything.
Events have the same problem. A meeting is announced in three WhatsApp groups and a letter, and on the day half the parents say nobody told them.
How Enaton handles it
Each school day, a diary entry is ready for every active learner before the first lesson. Subject teachers fill in what was covered and whether homework was set, the class teacher reviews and signs, and the parent reads and signs on their phone. Everyone can see what is still waiting.
The calendar sends each event to exactly the people it is for, a grade, a department, the parents of particular learners or the whole school, and reminds them before it starts.

Questions we get about this
Do teachers have to create a diary page each day?
No. An entry is ready for every active learner on each school day, and teachers fill in their subject.
How do we know a parent has read the diary?
Parents sign each entry, and notes carry read receipts. Reports show what is still pending for each parent.
Can we invite only the parents of one grade to a meeting?
Yes. Calendar events can go to a grade, a department, a role, named people or the parents of particular learners, and invitees can reply.
2 more questions
Will parents get messages late at night?
No. Diary reminders respect the quiet hours your school sets.
Can teachers attach a worksheet?
Yes, as a picture, a PDF or a Word document, on the diary entry itself.
