School visitor management system for the gate
A gate book tells you nothing when it matters. Every visit has a time in, a time out and the guard who handled it.
Enaton replaces the visitors book at your school gate. The guard records who came, why and who they came to see, that staff member is told by SMS, and the staff member marks the visit done. The time out is stamped at the gate.

The visitors book tells you nothing when it matters
Most school gates run on an exercise book. A name, a phone number if the guard asks, a time in and sometimes a time out. When a parent asks who collected a message for their child, or the head asks who was on the compound last Thursday, somebody has to page through handwriting.
The visitor then waits at the gate while the guard walks or rings to find the teacher. Nobody records whether the visit actually happened, and a visitor can leave without anyone knowing they were seen at all.
How Enaton handles it
The guard records the visit on a screen in a few taps. A returning visitor is found by phone number or ID number, so their details are never typed twice. A parent is recorded against their child.
If the visitor came to see a named member of staff, that person gets an SMS saying who is waiting and why. They mark the visit done when it is over, and the time out is stamped at the gate. Every visit keeps its time in, its time out and the guard who handled it.

Questions we get about this
What does the guard record for each visitor?
Name, phone number, ID number and type, where they are coming from and why they came, with the vehicle plate and temperature if your school wants them. Time in is stamped automatically, against the guard who recorded it.
Is the staff member told that a visitor is waiting?
Yes. When a visitor comes to see a named member of staff, that person gets an SMS saying who is waiting and the reason for the visit.
Can a visitor leave without being seen?
Not without a record. The staff member marks the visit done, and the time out is stamped at the gate, so every visit has a record.
2 more questions
Do we type a regular visitor’s details every time?
No. A returning visitor is found by their phone number or ID number, so the guard only records the new visit.
Can we set our own reasons for visiting?
Yes. The school keeps its own list of reasons, such as fees, a meeting with a teacher or a delivery, and the guard picks from it.
